Quik Strike Fly Abatement Strips
Quik Strike Fly Bait
The active ingredient of the Quik Strike Fly Abatement Strips is nithiazine which exterminates irritating flies in seconds after feeding. It has triple-action attractant — two feeding attractants and a fly sex pheromone. Pesky flies are lured to the bait by the triple-action attractant. Nithiazine is confined in a sugar-based medium that flies find to be tempting. It increases the nerve functions of the flies which cause them to have uncontrolled movement. When flies discover the bait, they fly around the surface, then start feeding. It can be used outdoors close to the fly feeding spots, or in partially covered spots like loading dock and parking garages.
Quik Strike Fly Abatement Strip has two containers on every side of the strip. Once the container is squeezed, a pad soaks up the two feeding attractants and the fly sex pheromone which are confined in the ampoules, drawing flies to the area where they start feeding on a quick-acting insecticide confined on a yellow-coated surface between the two ampoules.
The first container is set in motion upon its placement and normally goes on for two to four weeks, at that time the other container could be set in motion for continual fly attraction. You can use one Quik Strike for every 100 feet in highly fly infested areas or enclosed buildings. For areas that have minimal fly population or enclosed buildings, you could use one Quik Strike for every 300 feet.
